RAT ZAPPER 2000

 The Rat Zapper 2000 is the result of years of engineering and customer feedback. We've designed the Rat Zapper 2000 to be effective, clean, easy to use, and humane. The Rat Zapper electronic mouse and rat trap kills mice and rats with a deadly shock. Also it will kill any pest that will fit in it. It works a lot like the stun gun that police use on criminals. 

The Rat Zapper 2000 combines a Power Supply and Kill Chamber in one portable unit. The Power Supply is designed to detect the rodent and energize the chamber. The Rat Zapper 2000 requires four ordinary alkaline AA batteries.

The Kill Chamber houses a bait area and Kill Plate. You merely let some dry pet food slide all the way to the back of the Kill Chamber and place the Rat Zapper against a wall. When the Rat Zapper detects the presence of a rodent on the Kill Plate, the Power Supply instantly releases electrical energy sufficient to kill the rodent. A red light on top of the Rat Zapper blinks to let you know that you need to empty it out. Additionally, we have developed the , the Rat Pack and the Zapper Tracker monitoring system. This system was designed to eliminate the labor associated with traditional trap inspections and to aid in the timely disposal of dead rodents. Sure the Rat Zapper is great, but there is more to tell. The optional Rat Tale makes the world's best mouse (and rat) trap even better. The Rat Tale lets you know when you need to empty the Rat Zapper with a blinking red light. The 12 foot cord makes it easy to check the Rat Zapper in the attic, false ceilings, under stairwells, and other difficult to reach places.

Also, using the Rat Tale can reduce the amount of time that you must spend in enclosed spaces such as attics. The less you have to go into enclosed spaces to check rodent traps, the better.

The Rat Pack is an add-on battery pack for the Rat Zapper 2000. It is a new item that we are only producing in small quantities to assess consumer demand.

It allows any Rat Zapper 2000 ever built to use D-cell batteries instead of AA batteries. This will give you up to 6 times the battery life that you get from 4 AA batteries. This translates into 60 kills or 6 months time (as opposed to 10 kills or 30 days time with AA's).

It's great for rural homeowners, ranches, commercial facilities and Pest Control Operators.

Note: Batteries are not included with the Rat Pack and we strongly recommend the use of alkaline batteries.

The 4 D-cell batteries provide plenty of power for zapping large rats and ground squirrels (as well as mice and voles). Also, the extra weight of the D-cell batteries helps to keep the Rat Zapper firmly planted and prevents larger rodents from tipping the Rat Zapper.

After about six months time, you may want to test the Rat Zapper's zapping power  If the spark is small, you may want to replace the 4 D-cell batteries. You will probably never have to open the battery compartment lid again.
