The DELLPEST TRAILER is used to transport and keep organized all the equipment and chemicals necessary to perform a liquid termite treatment. This is the trailer you should expect to see when you are having a treatment to your property.

The POWER SPRAYER is able to contain 100 gallons of finished product. It has a non-kink hose that will reel out to a length of 250 feet. This is enough to wrap around an average home at least one complete time. It has a burst proof of 800 psi. This is way far from the average PSI of 35 used by DellPest. It's 5 horse power engine by Briggs and Stratton is able to deliver liquid at just about any rate you would like it to. This rig is absolutely necessary in doing an effective treatment according to label and regulations set aside by the state.

The HAMMER DRILL is an essential tool to pound through the concrete to effectively reach the bottom of the slab to protect the expansion joints were mostly termites are found forging. Most cement slabs are 4 to 6 inches thick. This heavy duty drill will make a one half inch hole through six inches in about in about 2 minutes. The drill is also used to access dirt filled porches where termites hide and in hollow block piers, patios, garages, and in brick veneer. Currently we use the Dewalt spline drill and the Milwaukee SDS

Pictured here are some DRILL BITS used to help us accomplish our task. Basically there are 2 types of heavy duty drill bits. The most being the spline and next being the SDS type bit. These bits are recognized by its tapered end. The spline is the one that has the teeth and the SDS a pattern of slots. to the far left pictures and an adapter that allows us to use SDS type bits with a spline type drill. The reason is SDS bits are usually less expensive and can be used with our other drills too. The life of the bit is usually an average of 4 jobs.

TREATING RODS are tools used with the power sprayer as attachments to perform different task. The long thick rods are used to rod the soil along the perimeter to provide a treatment to deep footings. The smaller rods are used to penetrate the dill holes to reach down below the slab to deliver the chemical properly. Also the tips if you can see them provides different ways to direct the chemicals in different situations. Also pictured are nozzles used for the control of the flow of liquid.

The PATCH PLUGS are used to plug the drill holes once we are done shooting the holes with liquid. The plugs pictured are made of plastic and usually blends in with the color of concrete. We insert and tap them with a small hammer and are in for a tight fit. These will not come out under normal circumstances. As an alternative we will patch holes with concrete/mortar mix at the owners request. This is less expensive for us but is quicker and less messy.

The Protek STOP BOX is used as a safety device for drilling. How it works is when the drill is plugged up to it and it touches metal it will shut off the power to the drill. This is so it will prevent us from drilling into water pipes, electric wires, gas lines, etc. It also has a GFI ground to further protect the user. It works only if your wiring is grounded properly, which most modern homes are.

This gas powered TRENCHER is sometimes used to aide in making the six inch trench along the perimeter of the home. In most cases if the soil is soft it is done by simply using a hand mattix. This is only used on the outside trench.

The FLOOD LIGHT is used to light up an entire crawl space with its powerful 500 watt halogen bulbs It's two setting customizes it for the job. This is usually run into your crawl space on a separate circuit.
